Royal FloraHolland zet zich hard in om de btw-verhoging van tafel te krijgen. Daarom heeft RFH samen met andere vertegenwoordigers van de sierteeltsector een krachtig beroep gedaan op het kabinet om af te zien van de voorgenomen verhoging van de btw op bloemen, planten, bloembollen en boomkwekerijproducten van 9 naar 21 procent. Floriculture sector: VAT increase on flowers and plants must be scrapped
Royal FloraHolland is working hard to get the VAT increase scrapped. That is why RFH, together with other representatives of the floriculture sector, has made a strong appeal to the government to abandon the proposed increase in VAT on flowers, plants, flower bulbs and tree nursery products from 9 to 21 percent. Final auction day in Eelde: "The end of an era"
With the final auction day at Royal FloraHolland in Eelde, an era has come to an end. Since 1978, Eelde had been the place in the north of The Netherlands where generations of growers, buyers and staff would meet, work together and have a chat. The final auction day and the closure of the hub on Tuesday 30 June are therefore bound to stir up some emotions. "A sense of gratitude prevailed for everything that has been built up and experienced here together."

Pieter Bootsma to resume his role as CEO of Royal FloraHolland on 1 July
On 1 July, Pieter Bootsma returned as CEO of Royal FloraHolland (RFH) following a period of recovery and gradual reintegration. Pieter is thus taking over the leadership role from David van Mechelen, who has held this position on an interim basis over the past year. David van Mechelen will resume his full responsibilities as CFO with effect from 1 July.
